The owner wanted a comfortable space to relax and entertain friends and we decided to go for a black, silver and red colour scheme throughout, adding flashes of fun, retro detail which complemented his outgoing personality. Hard metallic elements added texture to the walls and was also featured in the artwork and decorative objects, while the use of chenille, silks and velvet added warmth and richness to this home.

The study room was to be functional and stylish, so it was decided that we make it almost like a library, adding the 'books' wallpaper worked beautifully and complemented the leather topped desk. It gave the feeling of warmth and comfort to a space which could quite easily have otherwise been used as a cold office space.

This property was a buy to let investment and so, after discussion with the owners it was determined that this project should have a welcoming feel to attract a tenant but also that costs should be kept at a reasonable level. All furniture supplied to this property would be hard wearing, stylish and yet functional. A colour palette of soft greens, white and black gave a contemporary, fresh look, to suit either a male or female tenant, while glass tables gave a feeling of space and light. This apartment was let to the first person to view it.
